A Procession of Hurdles and Gates
飛びたいハードルを考え、通りたい門を思い浮かべ。そして、ちょうどいい瞬間にこの行列に並んでいるハードルと門に寄り、通りましょう。自分の目線を通し、向こう側の海や空を眺め、自分の心眼の中にしても良し。そしてタイミングが良ければ、頰に触れる風を感じながら、ちょっと散歩しませんか？その旅に足の下にあるハードルを跳んで、想像の中にある門を通りましょう。
※6月8日(土)-9日(日)が雨の場合は、翌週の15日(土)-16日(日)に実施します。（6/16(日)は開催となります）
Think of the hurdles you would like to clear. Think of the gates you would like to pass through. Then at the right moment make your way through this procession of hurdles and gates. You can do so in your mind’s eye as you gaze through and beyond out to sea and sky. Or if you have the chance, feeling the wind against your cheek, why not take a stroll clearing the hurdles beneath your feet and passing through the gates of your imagination. When it is rainy on June 8 (Sat)-9 (Sun), it will be transferred on the 15th (Saturday)-16 (Sun) of the next week.(Holding decision on 6/16)

桜アリスは元々オーストラリア出身だが日本のルーツもあり、日本では10年間活躍してきた。現在は横浜市に住まい、2016年から黄金町アーティスト・イン・レジデンス・プログラムに参加。ミクスドメディア、映像、インスタレーションなどを発表。近年の「レッドカーペット」作品は、意外性のある、ローカルな場所や公共のスペースに参加者を招いている。
Originally from Australia, Sakura Alice also has Japanese heritage and has spent 10 years living and working in Japan. She is currently based in Yokohama City where she has been involved in the Koganecho Artist in Residency program since 2016. She works in mixed media, video and installation. Her recent “red carpet” artworks invite local and public participation in unexpected locations.
